MB01 / Mac preview

Offline licensing

Import a signed offline licence and follow the contractual four-device limit.

Preview and licensed builds

Older preview installers can run without a licence file. The licensed build supports signed offline .mb1license import and requires a valid licence to unlock its paid audio. Follow the instructions accompanying your exact installer; a shared version number alone does not identify the licensing behaviour. Paid checkout and automated licence delivery are currently being configured.

Import your licence

Keep the original .mb1license file intact. The native About panel exposes IMPORT LICENCE when the build supports offline import.

  1. Open the native MENU / About panel and choose IMPORT LICENCE.
  2. Select the signed .mb1license file supplied for your licence.
  3. Confirm the licence state becomes active before testing sound.
  4. Keep a private backup of the file and the support serial for future recovery.

Four devices per licence

Each licence lets the named buyer install and use Bass One on up to four devices.

The four-device limit is contractual. Bass One verifies your licence locally; it does not count devices online or support remote deactivation.

Keep your signed licence file and support serial private, and keep a backup for future installations.

Offline verification

After downloading the installer and your licence file, import the signed .mb1license file in Bass One on each device to unlock the paid edition offline. No Muckybeats account or internet connection is needed for activation or continued use.

The licensed instrument verifies the signed file locally using its embedded public key. A Muckybeats account is not needed for that verification. Renaming or editing the file’s contents does not create an entitlement.

Missing or rejected file

Check spam/junk and the download instructions accompanying your order. For a missing file, wrong-key message or rejected import, contact support with your order reference, support serial if available, exact installer filename and error text. Do not send private signing keys. Device limits, transfers, refunds and update entitlements are governed by the terms supplied with the product; this guide adds no new policy.
