Mucky is a music producer, composer and engineer. New York born, Rotterdam raised, now based in Los Angeles.

He has spent 20 years making records, shaping sounds and working with artists. His work includes music with Sevdaliza, Wiley and Black Eyed Peas, alongside film, television and brand projects.

Mucky builds tools for his own productions. The plug-ins and sample packs come from sounds he returns to in sessions: a solid low end, character, movement and controls for working by ear.

Bass One brings together sub, Reese and FM synthesis with the processing used in his records. The drum samples come from Mucky’s production library, offering a starting point for new records.

Musical roots

Mucky started producing at fifteen and co-founded NoizBoiz at eighteen. Hardcore, hip-hop, jungle, dancehall and grime shaped his approach to rhythm and sound.
