Effects and mix workflow

Build character, make space for the kick and manage output level.

Signature effects

Three effects can be chosen and reordered in the chain. The available effect names are FANG, PRESSURE, ALLOY, FRACTURE, FRICTION, VECTOR, AFTER, IMPACT and RIFT. Their controls cover filtering, resonance/body, harmonics, crushing/repeats, modulation, reverse phrases, echoes/space, dynamics and granular textures.

Kick Pocket

Kick Pocket can trigger ducking from an audio sidechain or MIDI. It offers focused EQ ducking or classic full ducking, with attack, hold and release controls. Audio sidechain routing depends on the host; configure the kick send in your DAW and confirm the detector responds.

EQ, dynamics and output

Three Character EQ models shape frequency balance. Compression, output level and limiting help control dynamics and peaks. Compare at similar loudness, leave headroom, and make the final balance decisions in the full mix.

A practical order

A useful starting sequence is sources → filter/DIRT/effects → Kick Pocket/EQ → output. It is a workflow suggestion, not an automatic mixing result. Processing and modulation stay with the saved preset.
