MB01 / Mac preview

Macros, X/Y and voice modes

Use the performance page and choose how notes share the low end.

Eight macros

Each preset can provide eight named macros. PERFORM exposes them together; a macro can control routed parameters in the saved sound. The native interface supports right-clicking a macro to manage its links.

The X/Y pad

Any two macros can be paired on X/Y. Right-click an axis label to assign it. Movement across the pad changes the assigned performance controls; the other sound modules remain part of the same preset.

MONO, POLY and SPLIT

MONO shares one voice. POLY gives each note its own sub and upper voice. SPLIT combines polyphonic upper voices with one lowest-note sub anchor. MPE provides per-note expression where supported by your controller and host.

Automation

Use your host’s supported automation workflow for performance controls. Host routing and MPE setup differ; verify the result in your actual session before relying on a performance recording.
